SRG Questions, Answered
What technology is used? How does it differ from Pico alone?
Picosecond laser is one of the technologies. SRG combines HPL light, Pico-Pixel picosecond laser, therapist techniques and AR products in one skin-renewal plan, matched to your skin. HPL calms acne inflammation, redness and pigmentation; Pico-Pixel breaks up pigment and stimulates collagen to refine pores, acne scars and texture. A cooling handpiece and AR skincare finish the session.
How does it work without needles?
Light and laser work on tone and texture from the surface, with no injections. Therapist care and AR skincare keep the skin hydrated and calm.
How many sessions will I need?
Most concerns need 3–6 sessions, spaced 4–6 weeks apart. Skin often looks brighter after the first session; spots and acne marks usually improve more clearly after 2–3. A maintenance session every 6–12 months helps keep results.
Is there any downtime?
Downtime is minimal. Mild redness or swelling may last 24–72 hours, and small areas may lightly scab or look temporarily darker before clearing. You can wear makeup after 24 hours. Use SPF 30+ daily, avoid saunas and hot showers for 48 hours, and avoid exfoliants or retinol for 5–7 days.
How long do results last?
It depends on your skin and your goals. Results build over the course; a maintenance session every 6–12 months, daily AR skincare and sunscreen help keep them.
How comfortable is it?
Most clients describe a light snapping or warm tingling feeling that is easy to tolerate. We adjust the settings to your skin and your feedback, and the cooling handpiece calms the skin afterwards. Individual experiences vary.
Is it safe?
We assess your skin and recent treatments first. Trained staff choose the device, settings and products for your skin and adjust to your comfort at every step.
Who should not do SRG?
SRG is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or with an active skin infection, eczema or psoriasis in the area, a history of keloid scars, recent sunburn or tanning, Roaccutane (isotretinoin) in the last 6 months, or photosensitising medication. Please tell us about any medication before your session.
